Chardonnay – White Wine
The Chardonnay, from Burgundy, a region of eastern France is, with its grapes, among the most cultivated and produced vines of all over the world and is characterized by the great range of smells, flavors and colors that it acquires depending on the territories and the winemakers. Our Chardonnay is characterized by an eclectic personality and a balanced bouquet in its sour notes.
Vineyards: Eastern area of Friuli Venezia Giulia
Altitude: 35-50 meters a.s.l.
Annual production: 8-10 thousand bottles
Grapes: 100% Chardonnay
Form of breeding: Guyot
Vinification: Maceration: cold film, decantation: cold static, fermentation: for about 12 days in steel vats
Élevage: On noble lees for 6 months
Aging: In bottles for a further 2 months
Alcohol: 13.5 % vol.
Service temperature: 10°-12°C
Organoleptic examination: This Chardonnay, with an intense straw yellow color, gives off a fragrant and fruity aroma that evokes the renetta apple, banana and bread crust. Very delicate on the palate, it is characterized by a slight acidulous vein
Pairings: Lean starters, dry soups and broth, egg and fish dishes. Excellent as an aperitif
